About the Role: The Senior Finance Advisor works directly with schools and will support the development and delivery of financial management training material to support schools, and assist with the development and communication of school accounting policies and procedures. The 2 x temporary vacancies include: 1 x AO6 Senior Finance Business Partner for the duration immediately until 12 December 2025 (unless otherwise determined); and 1 x AO6 Senior Finance Business Partner for the duration immediately until 27 February 2026, unless otherwise determined. Responsibilities include, but not limited to; Undertaking analysis of the financial management practices and financial performance of schools. Providing financial management advice to school based staff. Monitoring the level of financial management competencies within schools. Providing appropriate training and development programs to enhance financial management skills. Working effectively in a team environment About You: Sound knowledge of contemporary financial management issues and strategies impacting schools. Ability to interrogate and analyse school financial management systems - Agresso and OneSchool Finance. Ability to deliver training programs relating to school financial management, including in an online format. High level communication skills, both written and oral, with ability to influence customer behaviour and implement change. Demonstrated leadership and management skills appropriate to achieving outcomes within negotiated timeframes.
