Resources Safety and Health Queensland (RSHQ) is the independent regulator of worker safety and health in Queensland's mining, quarrying, petroleum, gas and explosives industries. Our strategic plan focuses on protecting and promoting the safety and health of persons from risks associated with the resources industry. We are seeking two Principal Project Officers to support the Occupational Health division. The Principal Project Officer sits within RSHQ's Occupational Health division and is responsible for delivering against a range of occupational health objectives relating to health assessments and health surveillance, the effective regulation of psychosocial hazards, and other occupational health harms relevant to the Queensland resources industry. This includes providing strategic project management, operational services and advice that supports best practice. The role works closely with the broader Occupational Health team and inspectorates. About you It would be highly beneficial if you have knowledge, skills and experience in: problem-centric project development and delivery in a regulatory setting programs and projects that address occupational health risks including exposures to hazardous substances and psychosocial hazards, as well as consideration of health surveillance and fitness to work procurement and contract management stakeholder engagement and communication public speaking.
