Your new role: As a valued member of the Metro South Palliative Care Service, you'll deliver high-quality Occupational Therapy services to adults receiving palliative care across both community and inpatient settings (Canossa Palliative Care Unit). You'll work within an interprofessional team to support patients and their families through assessment, education, therapeutic intervention, and discharge planning , helping each person maintain dignity, safety, and quality of life. Your day-to-day will include: Providing detailed clinical assessment, intervention, and patient-centred goal setting. Delivering therapy that supports safety, comfort, and functional independence. Contributing to quality improvement, service development, and research initiatives. Supporting and supervising students, assistants, and less experienced staff. About you: You are a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist with a commitment to patient-centred care and professional excellence. You thrive in a collaborative team environment and bring both empathy and clinical expertise to support patients at all stages of their palliative journey. You'll bring: Proven ability to provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy in a palliative or rehabilitation setting. Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-first mindset.
