About the Role: As the Head of Department - Curriculum, you will lead the curriculum in alignment with school and departmental initiatives, enhancing the quality of teaching and learning across P-6. You will foster positive relationships among students, teachers, and stakeholders, and play a key role in facilitating collaborative planning meetings with teachers, focusing on the implementation of Version 9 of the Australian Curriculum. Responsibilities include, but not limited to; Provide visionary leadership to develop and sustain a shared educational vision focused on quality learning outcomes for all students. Promote equity and inclusion by embedding socially just practices and maintaining high standards for both staff and students. Drive professional excellence through active engagement in lifelong learning, mentoring, and ongoing professional development. Build strong partnerships with students, parents, colleagues, community organizations, and government agencies to enhance educational opportunities. Lead strategically and responsibly by managing departmental resources effectively, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies, and planning for future growth.
