Tell me more This is a new role which allows the director to step into a more strategic position. You'll join a boutique business, hungry for keeping it simple. If you're someone who values a good work ethic in your peers, responsibility, accountability, you'll get on here. You'll be mostly office based at a cool spot in Surrey Hills. Flexibility is fine A-OK but we aren't a Work From Home business. Day to day Your primary responsibility will be to problem solve in the hydraulics remit. Local codes and standards knowledge is critical and an ability to get on with people from all walks of life. Take a project end to end, from feasibility to construction. Engineer it, own it. You will collaborate closely with others in the design team, to ensure seamless integration all components within the overall project and you'll be the client and stakeholder interface. Take home between $110k - $145k p/a plus Super, based on your experience. Key duties: Confidently take a hydraulics project end to end including tender phase. Supervise a junior hydraulics engineer Liaise with clients with confidence Write reports Make all authority applications Prepare hyena fire hydrant calculations Attend sites to survey or inspect during construction About you, we need: A Registered engineer Experience in building services design – sewer, water, gas, roof drainage, fire hydrants and hosereels Site experience Confidence meeting clients (builders, often) To find out more Contact Miriam Taylor on 0447 042 897 or email miriam.taylor@sonda.com.au .
