Position: Theatre Efficiency Improvement Coordinator Classification: Clinical Nurse Consultant (ZF4) Salary per hour: $59.08 superannuation generous salary packaging options Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract Part-time 48 hours per fortnight until 29th March 2026 Award: Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Health Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024 -2028 About the role The Theatre Efficiency Improvement Coordinator plays a key role in delivering projects aligned with the Dhelkaya Health Operational Plan within the Peri-operative Services department. This position is responsible for ensuring that assigned projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The coordinator will lead and support project related activities, including reporting and engagement with relevant subcommittees. Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, particularly within the Peri-operative Services team, the role will drive improvements in theatre efficiency and contribute to the overall enhancement of service delivery with key deliverables as follows, Implement and scale theatre optimisation initiatives Planned Surgery Reform initiatives, including compliance with Planned Surgery Access Policy and relevant projects to ensure equitable and timely access to planned care Review Surgical Services Management Group Terms of Reference to maximise and monitor theatre performance About you A tertiary qualification in nursing or allied health discipline is desirable * Relevant experience in the Peri-operative environment Please refer to the relevant attached position description and address the key selection criteria on your cover letter when applying.
