CODA Disability Support was established in 1989 and is an NDIS registered, not-for-profit organisation that provides Personal Care, In-Home Respite and Community Access supports to adults with a disability who live in the community. Our office is based in Upper Mount Gravatt; however we provide supports to people in the extended Brisbane, Ipswich and Bayside areas. We currently have multiple opportunities for Disability Support Workers to join our vibrant, hardworking and committed team on a casual basis, supporting clients in Brisbane Southside and Bayside area. Candidates must be available to undertake sleepover shifts. We operate 24/7 and require staff to assist our clients across a variety of morning, afternoon and sleepover shifts. Experience working as a Disability Support Worker or related field. A passion to support people living with a disability. Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and resilience skills. Full understanding of professional boundaries. Experience supporting clients with challenging behaviours, and working in accordance with Positive Behaviour Support Plans (desirable). Experience in personal care, hoisting clients, and/or administering medication is preferred. To be successful in the role, you will have: Valid NDIS Worker Screening Card / Yellow Card (or willingness to obtain) Access to your own phone and email/internet Current QLD Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle Current First Aid and CPR certificates Desirable: Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services (or related field).
