We are looking for a Student Placements Coordinator to support Social Work and Community Services students in securing meaningful industry placements. This role is all about connecting with organisations, building strong professional partnerships, and ensuring students have a high-quality experience as part of their studies. Based in Sydney’s Hills District, with excellent access to public transport, the role offers the chance to make a real impact on the learning journey of Social Work, Counselling, Community Service and Social Science Students. This is a full-time, fixed-term role until December 2026, offering the chance to combine stakeholder engagement with student support in a dynamic and rewarding environment. The Role: Develop and grow relationships with community organisations and service providers. Identify and approach new partners to create sustainable placement opportunities. Assess suitability of new partners against accreditation requirements. Work with internal teams to ensure sufficient placements are secured for student cohorts. Monitor placement data and keep accurate records using placement management systems. Represent the organisation at networking events and industry visits. The Ideal Candidate: Comfortable working in a Christian faith-based environment Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Community Services, Counselling, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience). Strong networking and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience in relationship management or business development. Highly organised, able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, confident liaising with a wide variety of stakeholders. Comfortable with data systems and technology, with experience in tools such as CRMs or placement platforms. Collaborative and proactive, with the ability to balance independent work and teamwork. Valid Working With Children Check and Police Check (or willingness to obtain). Driver’s Licence is essential What’s in it for you? Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 Contract until December 2026 with full-time hours.
