Immediate start Eastern suburbs Melbourne/Hybrid Arrangement About the role Government client requires an experienced Internal Communications Advisor to join them on a short-term assignment for a duration of up to a period of 3 months based in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne with an immediate start. As the Internal Communications Advisor, you will support and deliver internal communications content that delivers on the Strategy & Engagement Division’s purpose and the organisation’s Strategic Plan. You will collaborate closely with the business to conceptualise, initiate, implement, promote and evaluate internal communications content and campaigns. Key Accountabilities Reporting directly into the Senior Manager, your key accountabilities will include: Developing and delivering engaging internal communication content and campaigns to engage with employees, stakeholders, and the broader community. Creating innovative, high-quality communication materials across multiple employee communication channels, including senior leader updates, regional briefings, and newsletters, to support organisational priorities. Providing strategic communication advice to business units to ensure messaging is impactful, consistent, and aligned with the organisation’s strategic objectives. Collaborating with the Strategy & Engagement Division to plan, draft, and distribute content across internal channels, applying best practice communication and engagement principles Key Selection Criteria The skills and experience you will need to demonstrate include: Proven experience in developing, implementing and evaluating communication messaging across a range of communication channels and multi-disciplinary functions Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of best practice internal communication approaches Sound communication, strong copywriting and editing skills using contemporary web based and social media technology experience Proven stakeholder skills in fast-paced, dynamic environments Qualifications Tertiary Qualifications in Communication, Public Relations, or journalism related field Sound knowledge of and experience working within a government environment Current Victorian Driver Licence How to apply?
