In this strategic role, you'll partner with the business to deliver work health and safety frameworks that support our people and culture strategy. You'll lead key initiatives, provide expert WHS advice, and collaborate across teams to enhance employee wellbeing and reduce risk. Provide expert WHS and People & Culture advice while leading strategic initiatives that enhance workforce capability and safety. Build strong stakeholder relationships to improve the delivery of WHS strategies and foster a positive employee experience. Develop and implement programs, policies, and systems that support staff, leaders, and executives with integrated HR and WHS solutions. Drive organisational effectiveness through learning and development, risk management, and continuous improvement practices. Produce high-quality reports and insights to inform decision-making and support best practice across the agency. About You You are an experienced work, health and safety professional who has strong experience in partnering with the business to advise on risk management. This role will suit an individual with a good ability to interpret policies and is committed to improving workplace practices. Experience in Human Resources, WHS or wellbeing-related roles Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management frameworks, and best practice safety principles. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and influence across diverse internal and external stakeholders. Essential Requirements Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline and/or equivalent experience in a relevant field. About the Agency The NSW Reconstruction Authority is a statutory corporation and executive agency of the Premier’s Department, that will improve how NSW plans for disasters and ensure that we recover from them faster. To reduce the severity and impacts of disasters, the NSW Reconstruction Authority will complete critical planning and preparation with communities, businesses and government. When disaster does strike, we will get recovery started swiftly and coordinate reconstruction efforts across agencies, communities and other stakeholders.
