We’re hiring: Senior Process Engineer | Mining, Minerals & Chemical Processing Carnac is seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join our team in Myaree (20 minutes south of the Perth CBD). From designing and optimising processes to mentoring graduates/junior engineers and working alongside multidisciplinary teams, you’ll play a key role in solving complex challenges and delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients. What you’ll doLead process design and optimisation to improve production efficiency and reliability.Prepare process documentation (design criteria, PFDs, P&IDs, mass balances, functional descriptions).Undertake process simulations and modelling (SysCAD experience preferred).Troubleshoot and resolve process issues across diverse operating environments.Contribute to HAZOPs, risk reviews, and feasibility assessments.Drive continuous improvement initiatives for clients and internally.Support preparation of study deliverables, cost estimates, and presentations.Champion a strong safety culture. What we’re looking forDegree in chemical engineering, metallurgy, or equivalent.Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) preferred.Solid experience in mining, minerals, or chemical processing projects.Strong process modelling/simulation skills (SysCAD preferred).Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities.Experience across brownfield and greenfield projects.Detail-oriented, safety-focused, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.Alumina, lithium, nickel, novel and emerging process technologies (or similar) design experience highly regarded Ready to take the next step?
