About the role We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Technician to join our service team based in Bibra Lake working Monday to Friday. This role is for a mechanically minded person with attention to detail who will be an essential part of the Perth service team. We are looking for an individual that can work autonomously and is a motivated self-starter with a strong commitment to company values and safety. A mechanical trade is a prerequisite, and experience in fixed or mobile plant hydraulic system maintenance, condition monitoring, and instrumentation tubing is highly regarded. Mechanical technicians with hydraulic experience are also encouraged to apply, as working within the service team will provide the opportunity to learn on the job and develop a specialist skill set Key Responsibilities: Dismantling, assessing, repairing, re-sealing, and testing items such as Hydraulic Pumps, Cylinders, Valves and Manifolds Overhauling hydraulic and mechanical components in our workshop Bending and fabrication of hydraulic tube work using both hand tooling and hydraulic bender Light fabrication of frames / brackets and small amount of lathe work Testing and commissioning of hydraulic equipment Dealing directly with our clients, including scoping jobs and providing detailed service reports Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance. Collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities. Travel to sites occasionally as/when required Site travel will be required on an as-needed basis only Requirements: Mechanical Trade Certificate Advanced hydraulic skill level Experience working on hydraulic pumps, cylinders, valves & HPU's Previous experience working with open and closed loop systems: troubleshooting, testing, oil analysis, tube work, routine maintenance and break downs. Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude and commitment to supporting a positive workplace culture. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Full driver's licence.
