Description We are seeking a skilled Release and Configuration Manager to oversee the installation and updates of our BackOffice software. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring application installations on various non-production environments. They will ensure smooth deployments and minimal disruptions to operations once applications are deployed. Job Responsibilities: • Establish and manage the release process through a software configuration management (SCM) plan. • Manage release schedules, milestones, and dependencies to ensure timely delivery of software releases. • Plan and execute application installations on various non-production environments. • Install and operate BackOffice applications on various non-production environments. • Monitor installations and ensure proper functioning. • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of BackOffice application versions on each non-production environment. • Analyze and report anomalies encountered during installations and follow up on their resolution. • Report on successful installations and operation. • Participate in project progress meetings and provide updates on progress. • Continuously improve release and configuration management processes through automation and best practices. Role Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. • Minimum 3 years of experience with CI/CD methodologies, workflows, configuration management, and corresponding tools. • Experience with SCM for large, complex software-based systems. • Proficiency with Configuration Management tools, such as Azure DevOps. • Strong administration skills in Oracle. • Familiarity with IT concepts on Windows and Linux platforms. • Development experience is a plus. • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with senior management, customers, and partners. • Superior written and verbal communication skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. • Innovative, energetic, and committed to delivering high-quality results
