Senior Strategy Manager – General Insurance Sydney | Hybrid (2 anchor days in-office) We’re partnering with a leading insurer seeking a Senior Manager to lead a team and help shape and deliver growth across its Partnerships & Distribution business. What You’ll Be Doing Drive the development and execution of the Partnerships & Distribution strategy, ensuring alignment with Group priorities. Lead the strategic planning cycle including annual business planning, joint partner plans, and commercial performance reviews. Deliver commercial and market analysis, and financial viability studies to inform investment and growth decisions. Work with senior executives to translate strategic priorities into clear commercial initiatives, financial plans, and execution roadmaps. Lead and coach a small team of strategists, uplifting capability and ensuring delivery excellence. Build strong cross-functional relationships to influence decision-making and enhance strategic understanding across the organisation. What You’ll Bring 8 years’ experience in Strategy or Management Consulting, Commercial Advisory within general insurance (insurance experience non-negotiable). Proven experience in both strategy development and strategic planning. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to assess business viability and value creation. Excellent stakeholder management skills, confident working with senior executives and external partners. Background in management consulting or in-house insurance strategy team Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a small team.
