ABOUT THE ROLE As a Workplace Relations Senior Business Partner, your key responsibilities include: Under the guidance of the Manager Workplace Relations and Wellbeing, drive a heightened awareness of employee and workplace relations matters and industry trends relating to best practice across the organisation in accordance with Chisholm’s values and policies. Develop excellent case management strategies to manage and resolve active cases in a timely fashion ensuring regular communication and support to the Business Area Manager, employee and any employee representative. Be hands on as required in planning and conducting workplace relations processes (investigations, documentation, mediation, resolution, representation, and closure). Review and document internal employee complaints of unfair treatment, harassment, discrimination, workplace violence recommending solutions to the Manager Workplace Relations and Wellbeing based on risk factors to the organisation and its people. Provide expertise to Business Area leaders and the People, Culture & Safety team, in employee and workplace relations activity and case management, including cases with an industrial relations aspect. Support enterprise agreement negotiations and subsequent implementation to facilitate Enterprise Agreements that meet Chisholm’s business needs and requirements. Ensure documentation relating to case management, is kept in accordance with Chisholm’s requirements and relevant legislation; and regular and up to date reports are provided in accordance with Chisholm’s requirements. Resolve complex employee and workplace relations issues to ensure timely and effective resolution ABOUT YOU You are a highly motivated individual with excellent written and verbal skills and experience in employee case management, correspondence to unions and related tasks. Qualifications required for the role: A relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, psychology, Industrial Relations, Law or a related discipline. Substantial case management experience and providing advice to people leaders on case management strategies and solutions.
