We are a small, friendly law firm seeking an organised and professional Receptionist to join our team on a 9-month fixed term contract (part-time, 3 days per week on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays). This role is central to ensuring the smooth running of our front office and supporting our legal team. As the first point of contact for clients, you will bring professionalism, warmth, and efficiency to every interaction. Key Responsibilities: • Welcome clients and visitors, creating a professional and approachable first impression. • Answer and direct phone calls, manage incoming enquiries and triage new client matters. • Maintain meeting room bookings. • Support general office operations to ensure smooth daily functioning. • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and deliveries. • Provide administrative support to lawyers and staff as required. • Manage stationery supplies and food orders, ensuring stock levels are maintained and refreshments available for meetings and staff, as required. About You: • Previous experience in customer service. • Previous experience in a law firm or professional services environment is highly regarded. • Background in office administration is essential and some experience working as a paralegal is a bonus. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to multi-task efficiently. • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel). • Adaptable, proactive, and able to work independently in a small team.
