We are seeking a Senior Associate with a solid background in employment law to join our market leading Employee Relations & Safety team. About the role Our Employee Relations and Safety team concentrates on the provision of strategic and complex workplace advice to an expansive and ever increasing blue chip corporate client base - which has seen the team acting for some of Australia's largest and most significant public companies, major financial institutions and global investment banks. In this role you will work closely with Partners Angela Weber, Andrew Gray and Cilla Robinson. You will work on high profile advisory , investigation, transactional and litigation matters spanning the full range of employment issues. What experience are we looking for? Recognised experience in the employment law field gained in a similar environment and enjoy working as part of a committed team – we are particularly interested in candidates with a strong background in complex advices, incentive plans, transfer of business advise and drafting, investigations and executive employment matters Experience representing employers in employment disputes in the Fair Work Commission and other courts and tribunals Excellent analytical, communication and drafting skills - to deliver prompt and commercially astute advice and draft complex legal agreements Strong commitment to client service and well-developed relationship management ability - you will play a key role in supporting and actively developing our relationships with our clients Team focus - to facilitate effective teamwork by developing strong internal relationships Enthusiasm to be involved in business development activities - participating in practice development programs and developing strategic relationships and networks First rate experience in the preparation of advice and drafting documents As a Senior Associate within the team you will be expected to contribute to the development of the practice and be actively involved in both internal and external client and industry initiatives. You will assist in supervising more junior staff and, as part of the team, allocate resources to ensure the efficient and effective utilisation of solicitor skill sets. You will be expected to contribute to the development of the practice so that commercially sensible and innovative solutions are provided to our clients. Who are we?
