About the role: Oversee a varied caseload of complex professional indemnity, financial lines and construction claims. Deliver pragmatic, strategic coverage and liability advice to both local and London market insurers. Lead and run matters independently - from pleadings and mediation through to court appearances and settlements. Mentor and supervise junior lawyers while collaborating closely with partners on significant disputes. Play an active role in business development and relationship management with key insurer clients. The ideal candidate: Minimum of 5 years’ post-admission experience, ideally with a focus on professional indemnity, financial lines or construction claims. Strong technical expertise in insurance litigation and coverage advice. Confident managing files end-to-end, with excellent drafting and client relationship skills. Committed to mentoring junior team members and contributing to a collaborative team culture. Highly organised, commercially minded and adaptable to a dynamic, high-performing environment.
