The position contributes to planning new or amended services by conducting area reviews of transport demand and engaging with contractors, schools, community groups, and local government. It also supports the Team Leader Planning and Contract Support with service development, procurement, and contract management, as well as investigating complaints, incidents, and contractual compliance matters. A strong focus of the role is maintaining productive relationships with stakeholders to support the effective delivery of the Student Transport Assistance Policy. This position is responsible for preparing reports, briefing papers, Ministerial correspondence, and other written material relating to student transport services. It also provides assistance with tenders, contract variations, and procurement documentation, while ensuring accurate administration of contracts and associated systems. The role involves responding to complaints and appeals, undertaking quality assurance tasks, and assisting in the preparation of business cases and other key documentation. About You! To excel in this role, you should possess: Demonstrated experience in contract administration (including contract novations), with strong knowledge and application of procurement policies and procedures. Proven ability to apply policy to achieve service delivery outcomes, and to conduct investigations into complaints or appeals relating to service delivery.
