The Opportunity We are seeking a passionate and committed Early Learning Centre Teacher to join our exceptional team at Kingswood College. This permanent role (FTE 0.53) will see you in the classroom leading our 2-day program on Thursdays and Fridays for 44 weeks of the year, with planning hours allocated on Mondays. This is a fantastic opportunity for an excellent teacher who is committed to delivering an early childhood education program of the highest quality, on a part time basis. As an ELC Teacher at Kingswood College, you will contribute to a nurturing, inclusive and engaging environment that fosters a love of learning and supports the development of our youngest learners. You will implement developmentally appropriate programs aligned with the National Quality Framework and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and inclusive learning experiences that support children’s wellbeing and development Build warm, respectful relationships with children and families Support compliance with all relevant frameworks and early childhood regulations Promote a safe, child-centred environment aligned with the College’s values and commitment to child safety Collaborate with a dedicated team of early childhood professionals Contribute to a calm, purposeful, and joyful learning atmosphere Successful applicants will: Hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent Be registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Have at least 3 years of classroom teaching experience Demonstrate a sound understanding of early childhood pedagogy and curriculum Hold current First Aid qualifications including HLTAID012, CPR, and anaphylaxis management Be passionate about working with young children and committed to their growth and wellbeing Pose excellent communication and organisational skills Work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team Our Benefits A welcoming, collegial and high-performing team culture within our ELC A values-aligned work environment committed to child safety and wellbeing Ongoing professional support and connection to a broader College community Employee Assistance Program and engaging social club 8 weeks of annual leave, salary rates aligned with our EA Please apply as soon as possible as applicants will be shortlisted upon submission.
