The Role This role is focused squarely on outreach, relationship building, and opportunity generation — not delivery. You’ll play a critical role in introducing the agency to new brands and marketers, identifying experiential partnership opportunities, and converting those leads into briefs and revenue. With the flexibility to work remotely, you’ll have the freedom to shape your week as required, while remaining geographically connected to either Sydney or Melbourne for client engagement. Key Responsibilities Leverage your network to generate new business opportunities in the events and experiential marketing space. Secure briefs, tenders and RFPs across consumer, lifestyle, gaming, tourism, sport, and tech sectors. Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of leads, ensuring consistent new revenue streams. Collaborate with strategy, creative and production teams on pitches and proposals. Represent the agency at industry events, leveraging your existing relationships for introductions and referrals. Track outreach, leads and conversions, demonstrating clear ROI. The Candidate You are a highly connected and commercially minded business development specialist with a track record of driving growth in experiential and events. You’re entrepreneurial, persuasive, and thrive when given autonomy to deliver results. 5 years experience in business development or client leadership within events, experiential, sponsorship or integrated marketing. A strong “black book” of marketing decision-makers. Hunter mentality with a proven ability to win new business independently. Deep understanding of brand activations, partnerships and experiential campaigns. Strategic, confident communicator with a sharp commercial edge. Based in Sydney or Melbourne (work from anywhere / flexible hours). Salary & Benefits $130K–$150K base (pro-rata) super commissions (negotiable depending on experience) 12-month part-time contract with potential to go permanent (part-time or full-time) pending performance.
