We now have exciting permanent opportunities available for Access and Approvals Advisors, Senior Advisors, and Leads to join our Western Australian Access and Approvals team in Perth. These roles are generally full-time, with part-time arrangements considered to support flexibility. With multiple positions available at each level, this is a fantastic time to join a growing team supporting APA Group’s expanding energy infrastructure pipeline. These roles report to either the Access and Approvals Manager or Access and Approvals Team Leads, depending on the level and project allocation. While primarily Perth-based, some travel is required for consultation and compliance assurance activities. Key Responsibilities While responsibilities vary by level, all roles contribute to the successful delivery of Access and Approvals outcomes across APA’s portfolio: Advisor Support project planning and identification of required approvals, contributing to schedule, budget, and risk assessments. Assist in stakeholder engagement and tenure negotiations under guidance from senior team members. Maintain accurate land records and ensure compliance with statutory and legal processes. Coordinate external consultants for defined scopes of work and monitor performance. Ensure field activities align with project HSE management plans and APA policies. Senior Advisor Lead the planning and delivery of approvals for assigned projects, advising on strategy, risks, and mitigation measures. Manage stakeholder relationships and negotiate tenure agreements with minimal supervision. Oversee consultant engagement and performance across multiple work packages. Provide assurance on compliance with legal and statutory obligations and internal systems. Mentor Advisors and contribute to continuous improvement of team processes and practices. Lead Drive strategic planning and execution of complex approvals and tenure pathways across multiple projects. Lead stakeholder engagement strategies and high-level negotiations with government, landholders, and other parties. Provide leadership and oversight across the Access and Approvals team, ensuring alignment with APA’s broader development goals. Champion compliance, governance, and assurance frameworks across the portfolio. Represent Access and Approvals in cross-functional planning and leadership forums. Your Background Excellent negotiation and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships based on trust, integrity, and credibility. Sound analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A commitment to working safely, efficiently, and in accordance with relevant policies and procedures. For Senior and Lead roles: proven experience in leading projects or teams, and delivering strategic outcomes in complex regulatory environments.
