The Opportunity: Reporting to the Leader Enforcement, you will provide high level analytical support across the Regulation group to deliver quality and timely operational and strategic business intelligence to support risk based regulatory activities, planning and decision making. You will also measure and analyse the performance of Scheme stakeholders to identify trends and enable management of risks using statistical analysis and data modelling. The Position: As the successful candidate you will deliver expert data analysis, reporting, and insight that supports risk-based regulation and stakeholder performance monitoring. You will maintain data integrity, develop dashboards and reports, and provide analysis that informs decision-making and enhances regulatory effectiveness. Key Responsibilities include: Partner with the Regulation business units to understand their needs and deliver data driven recommendations based upon expert analysis Develop a strong understanding of the Return to Work Scheme and our role as Regulator Build trust and confidence with customers via strong relationship building and actionable analytical insights Carry out research and statistical analysis, including forecasting Develop interactive and engaging Tableau dashboards Present findings of analysis and make recommendations Identify and implement process improvement opportunities Perform and assist with analysis of provider, employer and other stakeholder information. About you: As the ideal candidate, you will bring: A relevant tertiary qualification in behavioural science, data science, data analytics, mathematics or similar, or equivalent experience Experienced in using and developing reports, dashboards and self-service tools including use of SQL Demonstrated experience in managing the full continuum of business data to meet customer needs Have an understanding of a regulatory environment Proven experience to work independently to gather and analyse data and develop recommendations Ability to identify root cause of trends or performance issues and recommend solutions Excellent ability to prepare well-written reports that are clear and concise including actionable insights Ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders and explain complex concepts clearly Comprehensive presentation skills, including effective presentation use of data and information.
