Key Responsibilities: The Senior Report Developer will be responsible for providing technical expertise focusing on planning, coordinating, and implementing application and infrastructure changes, ensuring compliance with standards, policies and strategies. The incumbent will provide a range of leadership activities to ensure that new systems transition into production, in an integrated, seamless and coordinated manner, with fully operational production support in place. Skills & Experience: Experience in consulting with customers and gathering and interpreting requirements. Extensive experience in overseeing direction, development, planning and coordinating the implementation of upgraded technologies within a large, complex organisation. Experience in prioritising, planning, leading, implementing, evaluating and managing multiple complex projects, within the framework of the corporate objectives and in consideration of operational, political, financial and strategic issues. Experience in the management of new reporting technology and infrastructure within a large, outsourced and complex organisation. Demonstrated extensive knowledge of reporting framework structures such as SQL, SSIS, SSRS and best practice coding for optimised report generation. Demonstrated knowledge of planning and coordinating technology deployment activities. Comprehensive knowledge of current database technologies and emerging developments, future directions and their relevance/suitability.
