Impact you will have in this role Reporting to the General Manager - Fundraising & Philanthropy, you’ll take ownership of the individual giving strategy, leading the development and delivery of engaging and high-performing appeals that inspire generosity and deepen donor loyalty. You’ll oversee the planning, creative, and delivery process for multi-channel campaigns, ensuring every appeal tells a powerful story and delivers exceptional results. From segmentation and data analysis to donor experience and ROI reporting, you’ll bring both strategic insight and operational excellence to the program. In addition to appeals, you’ll also provide leadership across community and corporate fundraising, including the iconic Collection Dog program, engaging volunteers, local businesses, and corporate partners to extend reach and build long-term support. This is a highly collaborative role that works closely with marketing, regular giving, and external suppliers to create seamless donor journeys and high-quality campaigns that deliver exceptional ROI and supporter experiences. Key Responsibilities Lead the strategy and delivery of single giving and multi-channel appeals to drive acquisition, retention, and donor growth. Oversee community and corporate fundraising, including the iconic Collection Dog program. Analyse results, optimise campaigns, and ensure exceptional donor experiences across all touchpoints. Manage budgets, suppliers, and reporting to deliver strong ROI and data-driven insights. Lead and develop a small, high-performing fundraising team. Ensure compliance with fundraising and privacy regulations while maintaining accurate donor records. Skills and Experience You’re a strategic fundraiser with hands-on experience across individual giving. You’re data-driven, innovative, and motivated by delivering tangible impact through exceptional donor experiences. You’ll bring: Relevant qualifications in fundraising, marketing, communications, or a related discipline. Proven experience in individual giving, appeals, or broader community and corporate fundraising programs. A track record of managing high-profile supporter campaigns that deliver revenue growth and positive donor experiences. Experience leading teams and managing external suppliers to achieve ambitious targets. Strong analytical and data skills, with experience in segmentation, reporting, and understanding donor lifetime value and ROI. CRM and database knowledge, ideally Salesforce, and proficiency across Microsoft Office tools. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners. A strategic mindset, with the ability to balance long-term planning and hands-on delivery. A values-driven approach, aligned with the mission of Guide Dogs Victoria.
