About the Cottage – The AIS Caretaker's Cottage is a 48-place childcare facility located at the Australian Sports Commission in Bruce. It has been established to provide high-quality care in an environment that is welcoming, nurturing and educational. The Cottage has three playrooms and two separate playgrounds. Ten full-time places are available for children aged 0 to 18 months, 15 places for children aged 18 months to three years and up to 23 places for children aged three to five years. The Cottage maintains an Exceeding Rating and has achieved an Excellent Rating three times in a row, recognising our commitment to quality service for children, families and staff. About the team – The team at the Cottage takes a contemporary approach to pedagogical practice informed by current theory. You will have the opportunity to explore contemporary practices and implement approaches by modern theorists. For example, we integrate a Primary Caregiving Approach to support relationships, and have a commitment to embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Perspectives in our work. About you – We are looking for an educator who has a passion for Early Childhood Education.
