Job Description We are seeking an experienced Principal Engineer to join our Urban Development team in Canberra. Key responsibilities: Provide expert technical advice throughout all project stages—from feasibility and design through to construction, integration, and commissioning Develop budgets and prepare fee proposals Oversee the Urban Development design and drafting program Lead civil design, including earthworks, drainage, car parks, roads, pavements, and utilities Provide guidance and technical supervision to engineers and designers within your service line Manage technical reviews and internal QA processes Undertake project management, bid support, and leadership duties Set department goals and develop actionable implementation plans Enhance engineering application processes.
