The role: Take ownership of the end-to-end design, deployment, and configuration of the Vulnerability Management System (VMS). Contribute expert technical advice to the development of project plans and schedules, identifying potential risks and issues. Actively engage in project meetings and collaborate with team members to ensure the timely delivery of security solutions. Provide high-level technical support for the VMS platform, ensuring it remains operational and effective. Conduct regular maintenance, updates, and performance tuning of the VMS platform to ensure it operates at its peak. Implement proactive security measures and system hardening to enhance resilience against emerging threats. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop, socialise, and implement technical security plans. Contribute expert analysis and advice on current and future security requirements for the organisation. We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience: Vulnerability Management: Demonstrated hands-on experience in the configuration and administration of a Vulnerability Management System. Analytical Skills: Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve technical issues on security platforms. Project Contribution: Experience contributing your technical skills to ICT projects to support the delivery of successful outcomes. Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Good communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to consult effectively with technical stakeholders, maintain positive working relationships, and explain concepts clearly. IT Service Management: ITIL service management framework primarily incident / request / task / change / knowledge and configuration management. Development: Coding/scripting capabilities primarily in Python, Powershell, and web APIs.
