Security Coordinator (Relief/Higher Duties) $35.09 per hour Higher Duties Sea World Business Unit About the role: The Relief Security Coordinator will perform the role as Coordinator in a supplementary roster capacity. Shifts will vary and would be rostered during periods of the current Coordinators annual leave as well as providing sick coverage. Duties: • All duties of Security Senior plus additional responsibilities • Assume duties of the Security Supervisor and Full Time Security Coordinators by providing supplementary coverage during periods of annual leave and sick coverage • Work closely with the Security Supervisor and Full Time Security Coordinators to provide input for operational procedures and assessment material • Facilitate and deliver training to new and existing guards, ensuring the training paperwork has been completed and filed correctly • Work with the Security Supervisor and Coordinators to deliver simulated emergency training drills within the Security team • Assist in performance management, and annual team member performance reflections in conjunction with Security Supervisor • Work with the Security Supervisor and Workforce planning to ensure appropriate use of resources and skills • Liaise with operational departments for staffing levels for special events • Liaise with Contractor services to ensure minimum staffing levels can be met if unable to fulfill shifts within our internal team roster • Establish and maintain positive and efficient working relationships among Security team members and operational departments • Liaise with Park Supervisors as required to assist in management of incidents occurring in park • Manage day to day security operations Skills and Experience: Must hold any security licenses as deemed relevant by VRTP. This can include, but not limited to: Provide First Aid Security Officer – Unarmed, Crowd Controller, Cash in transit & Monitoring Demonstrated management skills and currently operating in a leadership or Senior position A professional attitude and display a clear communication style while consistently leading by example Must be flexible within rostering requirements and the ability to work within the 24hr rostering period Training qualifications beneficial but not an essential requirement Immunization for Hepatitis B is recommended
