Facilitate workshops and expos for families that align with our goals as a school, as well as on topics to empower our families in the journey of raising a child with complex needs Facilitate/be involved with parent support opportunities and local community networks (for example My Time) Work with the STO to formalise work experience options/agreements, whilst expanding opportunities for students based on their skills and interests Support the Executive Leadership Team with the promotion of events both internally and externally to our parent body and local community Work with the Principal to continue to build on our branding and reputation as a school, relying on strong graphic design skills to continue to create content (including videos and still photography) to promote and celebrate the school. What You Bring: Passionate about driving a collaborative culture of learning, and supporting staff, families and the wider school community to work together to best meet the needs of our students. Assist in the development of school and community links, and provision of information and support on education related issues for the facilitation of partnerships in decision making to enhance learning. Responsible for social media communications and both internal and external promotion of events as we continue to promote and celebrate the school, so creativity and a flare for graphic design is also sought. As a lead learner, you will need to have a strong relational capability to quickly develop positive relationships between relevant stakeholders. Experience in working across school and community organisations and setting up and facilitating programs to encourage greater interest and participation in innovative practice for students with a disability is sought.
