Job Description: Azure Cloud Services- Technical Lead Technical Skills- Proven experience in Azure cloud operations within enterprise environments. Strong proficiency in Terraform, Bicep, and IaC principles. Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and CI/CD automation. Deep understanding of Azure AD, Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, Managed Identities, and Conditional Access. Hands-on experience with AKS, Azure Container Apps, and Helm charts. Familiarity with Azure Policy, Blueprints, and Security Center. Knowledge of networking in Azure, including Private Endpoints, NSGs, Firewalls, and Virtual WAN. Experience with monitoring and observability tools: Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus. Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python. Certifications (Preferred) Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500) Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) Soft Skills- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment. Key Responsibilities- Provide 24x7 operational support for Azure services, including incident resolution and problem management (on-call rostered support). Manage and optimize Azure services including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps, Azure SQL, and Azure Virtual Desktop. Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, and Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates. Champion GitOps and DevOps practices using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines. Monitor and manage cloud resources using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Microsoft Sentinel. Ensure cloud systems meet performance, availability, and security SLAs, including regular DR testing, patching, and backup validation. Drive cost optimization through proactive analysis using Azure Cost Management and Advisor. Maintain compliance with Microsoft Cloud Security Benchmark (MCSB) and other regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, APRA CPS 234). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support hybrid cloud and multi-cloud strategies.
