About the role The Technical Support Officer provides broad-ranging Tier 1 support to users utilising a range of media (including the infrastructure environment and software) to troubleshoot and resolve issues of moderate complexity across the organisations’ ICT environment. We are seeking a motivated and resilient person to: Utilise appropriate tools and methods to address user support queries and return user’s ICT systems and networks to optimum efficiency Manage set-up activities for ICT devices and systems and monitor their performance to limit or prevent loss of service to end users Create and maintain support documentation to assist others in restoring services and reduce the impact of unplanned outages Key knowledge and experience Demonstrated problem solving skills in planning, and development of new processes and identify opportunities for enhancements to existing processes. Excellent computer literacy skills, including Microsoft Office with well-developed verbal and written communication skills. Proactive with a high attention to detail and demonstrated ability to manage key business initiatives. Essential Requirements Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, or equivalent knowledge and workplace experience including ongoing professional development.
