Synergie Australia is seeking a Production Operator for E-Waste Industry located in Smithfield. What you will be required to do: Proven experience working in a shift environment with proper handover and time management practices Ability to operate within control rooms and troubleshoot field tasks (e.g. pump handling, de-choking, unblocking) Familiarity with automation systems such as DCS, SCADA, or basic PLCs – CCTV control room experience alone is not sufficient Hands-on background in chemical, petrochemical, or wastewater plants A mature mindset with leadership potential – ideal for grooming into a future Shift Leader Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor manufacturing systems, including control room operations, ensuring efficient and safe performance. Execute production activities in accordance with safety, quality, GMP, and compliance standards. Assist with preventative maintenance, equipment calibration, and reliability initiatives to support smooth plant operations. Perform hands-on tasks such as material transfers, cleaning, equipment handling, and stacking of goods. Complete all operational logs and compliance documentation with accuracy and attention to detail. Collaborate effectively with Engineering, R&D, and cross-functional teams to support process improvements and project delivery. Participate actively in toolbox talks, safety briefings, and continuous improvement discussions. Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised work environment in line with workplace health and safety practices.
