Our Opportunity We are seeking a committed, detail-oriented and approachable People & Culture Advisor to join our dynamic team in this full-time, permanent role, ideally starting in January 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated HR professional to contribute to the full employee lifecycle — from recruitment and onboarding through to engagement, culture, compliance and professional learning. The position plays a key role in supporting leaders and staff to uphold the College’s values and to ensure an engaged, people-centred workplace experience. Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, the successful applicant will be part of a small, collaborative and high-performing team that provides best practice advice and HR support across the College. At present, you may be working outside of human resources and looking for a foot in the door or you may be a HR Coordinator looking for a lift in responsibility, or something else. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and deliver end-to-end recruitment campaigns, ensuring a professional and values-aligned candidate experience Coordinate the onboarding, induction and offboarding processes Provide timely and accurate HR advice, documentation and guidance to leaders and employees Contribute to HR policy development, performance and learning programs, and culture initiatives Oversee data accuracy and compliance within the HRIS/ATS systems, including reporting and analytics Assist in ensuring adherence to the College’s Enterprise Agreement, policies and employment legislation Partner with leaders to build engagement and strengthen a positive workplace culture About You Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline Eighteen months - two years experience in an HR Coordinator role Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills High attention to detail, confidentiality and professional judgement Sound knowledge of HR practices, employment legislation and HR systems A collaborative mindset and a genuine passion for people and culture work Our Benefits Opportunities for ongoing development & coaching A values-driven culture where people are genuinely respected and supported Active social club and initiatives Access to Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Six weeks annual leave, plus extra leave days throughout the year Convenient Box Hill location with onsite parking and beautiful grounds Closing date: 7 November 2025, however applications will be reviewed upon receipt, so early applications are encouraged.
