Synergie Australia has partnered with a steel manufacturing company seeking a MOBICON OPERATOR located in Wetherill Park, About the Role Experience is a bonus, but we understand that Mobicon operation is a unique skill set. Candidates with strong forklift experience will adapt quickly, and we are ideally seeking someone younger and tech-savvy , as the role involves operating the Mobicon via joysticks and cameras . This position requires someone reliable and safety-focused —we cannot take candidates who are likely to drop out. Key Responsibilities Strong forklift skills (Reach, Side Loader, Counterbalance). Comfortable with technology and camera/joystick controls. Safety-conscious and dependable. Physically fit and capable of handling warehouse/production tasks. Essential Requirements Proven experience operating Mobicon machinery or similar industrial equipment. Strong understanding of safety procedures and hazard minimisation. Ability to work reliably in a fast-paced environment. Good hand-eye coordination and ability to work with joystick/camera systems. Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks. Desirable Skills & Experience Forklift experience (Reach, Side Loader, Counterbalance) is an advantage. Familiarity with warehouse or production line environments. Ability to quickly adapt to new technology and equipment. Prior experience in temp-to-perm roles is a plus.
