Are you an experienced project leader with a background in client-side building construction and a passion for delivering high-quality infrastructure outcomes? We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to take the reins on complex projects and drive them from concept to completion. You'll manage end-to-end project delivery with a focus on quality, compliance, stakeholder satisfaction, and value-for-money outcomes. This is a strategic role where your leadership, technical knowledge, and business acumen will directly influence the success of major construction projects. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Prepare comprehensive project management plans, select delivery methodologies, assess risks, and manage lifecycle considerations. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, approvals, and WHS standards. Consultant Procurement & Management: Prepare project briefs, consultant tenders, and terms of reference. Ensure design aligns with project intent, statutory requirements, and cost-effectiveness. Contractor Procurement & Delivery: Develop tenders for traditional and D&C contracts aligned with Australian Standards. Act as Principal’s Representative and Contract Superintendent. Professional Expertise: Draw on your experience in managing capital works and upgrades from a client-side perspective. Apply your knowledge of construction law, industry practices, and stakeholder roles. Business Acumen & Communication: Prepare project reports, manage stakeholders, and achieve time/cost/quality targets. Track profitability, manage approvals, and maintain audit-ready documentation. Leadership: Lead and mentor internal and external teams across multiple projects. Provide guidance and oversight to junior project managers. Strong understanding of procurement, contract law, and design/construction processes. Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
