What You Will Be Doing The Physiotherapy Department at Peninsula Health provides core, elective, and observational clinical placements through partnerships with a range of education providers for Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Master of Physiotherapy, and Doctor of Physiotherapy programs. The Physiotherapy Student Co-ordinator will be a leader in clinical education, driving innovation and excellence in student placements for the Physiotherapy Department. The Co-ordinator will facilitate the development of clinicians as educators across Peninsula Health, to provide effective student supervision, as well as expand the capacity of Peninsula Health to provide clinical placements as appropriate. This role will involve being the key contact within Peninsula Health for both students and clinicians and a key liaison for education providers. The clinical placement co-ordinator is responsible for co-ordinating and facilitating the delivery of the targeted number of clinical placements across Peninsula Health. Please see Position Description What You Need We anticipate you will have: Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA) Extensive experience in the provision of undergraduate clinical education Experience in the management of physiotherapy and support staff Current and extensive clinical experience Demonstrated experience in quality improvement and research processes Prior experience in teaching or supporting learners Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Ability to demonstrate initiative and self-direction Demonstrated ability to constructively communicate concerns and issues and identify and propose practical solutions to problems.
