Join Us as an Automation Engineer – Shape the Future of Mortgage Tech Join our Gold Coast-based team as an Automation Engineer, working on end-to-end software delivery for mortgage-related digital applications. You'll design robust automation frameworks using Java and TypeScript with Playwright experience considered a strong advantage. Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks for APIs, mobile and web platforms Lead automation across functional, regression, integration and performance testing Define automation strategy and enhance CI/CD pipelines Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities Mentor junior engineers and uphold best practices in automation Continuously improve QA processes and propose automation enhancements Participate in risk assessments, audits and security reviews Maintain clear documentation including test plans and coverage metrics What do I need? Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field. Strong experience in test automation and QA engineering. Proficiency in Java and TypeScript. Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Rest Assured, Postman, Mockito). Familiarity with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (JIRA, Git, Docker). Playwright experience is advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills and proactive mindset. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with AI/ML-based testing solutions (GenAI, LLMs, model-based frameworks) Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, Locust, Artillery) Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, AWS/Azure, Selenium WebDriver) Experience in banking, fintech or regulated domains Why join us?
