The Opportunity: Infrastructure Delivery Lead – Civil Works This is not a desk job. We’re seeking a veteran-level civil expert who knows how to walk a site, read between the lines, and spot better ways to build. You’ll be the client-side authority overseeing the full lifecycle of civil infrastructure delivery — from early design input and contractor management to compliance, reporting, and site performance. It’s a hands-on, high-accountability role for someone who can blend deep technical know-how with leadership presence and commercial edge. Your Role Will Include: Overseeing civil contractors across multiple resort projects, ensuring scope, safety, and standards are met Reviewing designs and identifying opportunities to value-manage and optimise delivery Holding consultants and contractors accountable to timelines, budget, and quality Ensuring civil infrastructure aligns with best practice, regulatory standards, and GemLife's high standards Working closely with internal development, construction, and leadership teams to keep projects moving What You’ll Bring: Significant experience in civil construction — ideally across both contractor and client-side roles Strong technical knowledge of earthworks, services, roadworks, and site infrastructure A keen eye for efficiency — you know how to push back, problem solve, and propose smarter alternatives The confidence to challenge ideas, lead conversations, and work collaboratively with senior stakeholders A boots-on-the-ground mentality — you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and own your site Key Outcomes Expected: Civil scopes delivered on time, on budget, and to specification Improved ROI through smarter design and value engineering No surprises in the ground — risks and issues identified and resolved early Living Gems' reputation as a leader in quality and cost-effective delivery is upheld and enhanced Why Join GemLife Now?
