Description The F&B Auditor is a techno-commercial role responsible for leading the development of the F&B business, delivery of projects, ensuring service excellence for clients and playing an important role in the development of others within the team. You help clients implement, improve and demonstrate their commitment to international and local standards. You will get the opportunity to lead and develop our work on a wide range of Food and Beverage services from auditing, training services including product certification. This position reports to the National Resource & Training Manager. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: You will be expected to lead and support the growth of our sales and delivery for a range of services and may have specialism and expertise in several of them, including: Supporting the sales team through technical advice and guidance. Training and capacity building services. Conducting 3rd party audits for various food safety schemes including, Quality Management System, and other specific scheme audits including Audit report writing. Key customer management and stakeholder engagement. Managing the qualifications of other team members in conjunction with Global Compliance Unit, other accredited bodies and with the Resource and Technical team. Enterprise risk management. Qualifications Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Food Science or Technology or Academic qualifications relevant to food and beverage subject areas. Minimum 10-year experience in Quality Management System relevant to food and beverage, with 3rd-party auditing experience in food safety. Minimum 5-year experience in F&B sector, in different food industries. Qualifications in some of these schemes like BRC Food, BRC packaging, IFS, FSSC V5 (Food and Packaging), HACCP, ISO9001, ISO22000:2018, GMP Plus, FAMI-QS, Global Standard, etc, to name a few. Strong communication skills in English. Proven project and/or team leader, delivering service excellence. Ability to work in an international team, delivering and leading teams to produce high quality deliverables on time and on budget. Ability to lead multiple projects in parallel, often with conflicting demands and timelines. Able to clearly delegate tasks and provide sufficient guidance, support and feedback on performance in a constructive manner to Management. Willingness to travel and work around Australia, New Zealand and other locations.
