Purpose As a Finance Officer, you will be an organised professional with excellent communication skills and a strong aptitude for numbers. The Role - this is a fixed term role ending 11th May 2026 Background in Finance is preferred but not essential MUST HAVE A solid understanding of hotel workings and numbers (essential)Full Time role, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm Annual salary of $66,414 Super and Accor global team member benefits Role is based in Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast, with the potential for flexible working arrangements following completion of a successful induction periodWorking in a small finance team you will support the wider groups team, supporting up to 100 properties across a range of states within Australia Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities Prepare, collate and send client monthly statements for properties within your assigned portfolioMonitor outstanding debt, ensuring the timely payments of invoicesReconcile and assist with credit and non-credit groups invoicing and follow upAccurately process payments and apply them to the Central Reservation System (SIHOT) and PMS (OPERA)Maintain clear and constant communication with the operations and finance teams to ensure the continuity of timely processed dataUphold rigorous adherence to established financial procedures, safeguard the confidentiality of processed information, and contribute to a seamless financial operationWork with and maintain constructive relationships with your Manager, Groups and Property teams Skills And Experience At least 2 years current experience as a Receptionist, Hotel Guest Service Agent, Night Auditor or hotel finance officer will provide you with transferable skills that are well-suited for this role Highly organised with a key eye for detail and numbersProven ability to manage a high volume of transactionsConfident in the use of Microsoft office with the knowledge of SIHOT and or OPERA desirableExhibit strong verbal and written communication skills Accor Benefits ALL Heartist Membership - Take advantage of discounts on accommodation and food & beverage worldwide!
