Health Science Hub (RTO 52806) is looking for new team members who are interested in working in the Vocational Education & Training (VET) sector. We can only consider applicants with: A completed undergraduate degree in Biology/Animal Science or similar. We are looking for people who want to start or continue their career in education. The role will be training a class of secondary school students (Year 11 & 12) in the 22582VIC Certificate IV in Tertiary Preparation (Marine & Terrestrial Biology) . The right candidate must be able to work with this age group. We are looking for additional trainers for our Bunbury Campus during school terms 1, 2 & 3 for 1 to 2 days per week (Thursday or Friday). An advantage would be for you to already hold a Certificate IV in Training & Assessing (TAE40122), however, we would be willing to train the right person to attain this qualification over time. Professional development and on the job training & mentoring is provided for successful candidates who are new to VET but have have Industry experience and skills. The right candidate will have the following: Be comfortable in front of students and display the confidence to explain and deliver the required content. Ability to run practical activities that engage students in the qualification content. Ability to understand the qualification assessments to ensure assessments can be explained accurately, linked to the content and guidance can be provided. Work within a team as well as autonomously. Manage change and contribute to continuous improvement. Have the ability to use technology in the classroom. This includes: Learning Management System (LMS) eLearning and online assessment.
