Your new role: As Assistant Manager, you'll coordinate and oversee the administrative, human, and financial resources of the MASS Equipment Services team to ensure timely, high-quality service delivery. You'll support a dedicated team providing essential aids and equipment to clients statewide and contribute to ongoing process improvement and performance reporting. Key responsibilities include: Manage day-to-day administrative operations, human resources, and budgets for MASS Equipment Services. Lead and support staff to deliver high-quality service outcomes aligned with MASS and Metro South Health objectives. Oversee procurement activities, payment processing, and reconciliation of invoices within financial delegations. Maintain and interpret data systems and performance reports to support operational decision-making. Participate in planning, policy development, and continuous improvement initiatives across MASS. Liaise effectively with clients, healthcare providers, suppliers, and community stakeholders to promote efficient service delivery. Ensure compliance with governance, safety, and quality standards. About you: You're a confident leader with exceptional communication and organisational skills who thrives on improving systems and leading teams to deliver high-quality outcomes. You bring analytical thinking, sound judgement, and a people-first approach to managing operations within a complex healthcare environment. You'll bring: Proven experience managing administrative, financial, and physical resources within a public or health service setting. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and develop team members. Advanced data management and reporting capabilities, including proficiency in information systems. Demonstrated experience in policy development, quality improvement, and service planning. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
