The Agriculture Ministers' Meeting (AMM) and Agriculture Senior Officials' Committee (AGSOC) Secretariat within the branch provides professional and responsive support for minister and high-level executive governance meetings. The key duties of the position include The Job The AMM-AGSOC Secretariat is seeking candidates with minimum of 5 years secretariat experience. The position offers the opportunity to join a small, high-performing team working on a breadth of critical portfolio and government issues that directly benefit the Australian community and industry. Assistant Directors work as senior members of the team, responsible for leading the delivery of high-quality, accurate and consistent analysis and advice in providing secretariat services as required. Key duties for this position include, but are not limited to: leading the preparation of high-quality meeting documents, including, agendas, briefing, papers and minutes often in a pressurised environment maintain professional and constructive relationships with stakeholders liaising with other policy, regulatory and operational areas in the department and across government to achieve area and agency goals leading and building the capability of team members to support the duties listed above.
