Your next career opportunity As an Academic Programs Officer at the Melbourne School of Psychological Sciences, you'll be at the heart of one of Australia's leading psychology schools. You'll manage and administer a range of coursework and graduate research programs, ensuring a high-quality experience for students across various psychology disciplines. This role offers you the chance to support world-class teaching and research while developing your expertise in academic program management within a dynamic university environment. Your responsibilities will include: Manage Academic Programs: Coordinate day-to-day activities associated with coursework and graduate research programs, ensuring equity of experience for all students. Support Teaching Staff: Provide high-level support to academic staff on teaching matters, including subject set-up and examination processes. Administer Student Services: Handle admissions, enrolments, and respond to student enquiries across various psychology programs. Ensure Compliance : Maintain integrity and security of examinations and results, adhering to university policies and procedures . Drive Continuous Improvement: Develop and maintain administrative systems to enhance support for teaching staff and students. You may be a great fit if: You are a detail-oriented professional with strong organisational skills, demonstrating excellent communication abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic academic environment. You may also: Hold an undergraduate qualification in a relevant discipline or have equivalent experience. Demonstrate the ability to work effectively both in a team and independently. Possess excellent written and oral communication skills with high attention to detail. Show proficiency in student management systems and Microsoft Office applications. Have experience in planning and completing tasks within strict timeframes . Exhibit strong interpersonal skills for liaising with diverse stakeholders.
