The Gig Step up as the trusted Civil Construction Manager driving projects and the team. This newly created role reports directly to the Managing Director and is designed to strengthen the growth of the business. As Civil Construction Manager, you’ll take ownership of infrastructure and land development projects across Sydney, ensuring works are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Day to day, you’ll lead various projects, liaising with key stakeholders managing the efficient delivery of packages of civil works. You’ll bring your strong knowledge of AS400 contracts and all aspects of developments from works certificates to handover. Leadership is at the heart of this role , You will lead a team of engineers in the business, ensuring the highest standards of quality across all projects under the companies stewardship. You’ll be trusted with: Leading construction delivery of civil projects from commencement to completion Managing subcontractors and key stakeholders Monitoring safety, quality, and environmental compliance at every project stage Reviewing plans, scopes, and buildability to ensure practical construction solutions Managing budgets, schedules, progress claims, and reporting on site performance Building strong client, council, consultant, and stakeholder relationships on projects Identifying risks early and implementing effective mitigation and resolution strategies Resolving site challenges quickly with confident, commercial, and practical decisions Preparing site reports, variations, and handover documentation to required standards Supporting growth by mentoring engineers and developing motivated site-based teams What’s in your toolbox? Degree in Civil Engineering 2 years’ consulting experience with 8 years overall civil construction experience Strong technical, organisational, and commercial skills with a delivery focus Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills You’re the kind of person wh o sees both detail and the big picture and can communicate with clarity.
