We’re looking for skilled Training & Development Coordinators to help personnel meet mandatory training compliance and are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to safely and effectively perform their duties nationwide. Based at Lavarack Barracks in Wulguru QLD , you’ll act as a critical bridge supporting both onboarding and continuous improvement initiatives by monitoring training records, identifying gaps, and working with managers to upskill teams in line with Defence and contractual obligations. How you’ll make the right impact As a Training & Development Cordinator , you’ll play a key role in ensuring our Defence logistics operations run efficiently and in line with contract expectations. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will: Coordinate and deliver induction, site-specific, and Defence-mandated training across all personnel groups Maintain accurate training records in accordance with audit and compliance requirements Track and report on training compliance status across sites, escalating gaps or expired qualifications as required Work with Regional Manager and Safety, Environment and Compliance teams to ensure training programs reflect updated policy or procedural changes Manage training vendors and facilitators where external training is required Support investigations and non-conformance reviews by providing training history or compliance status Assist in the continuous development of training materials, SOPs, and learning content Coordinate re-certification and refresher cycles for time-limited training (e.g. DG, WHS, Security) What you’ll bring We’re looking for motivated professionals who bring: 3–5 years' experience in training coordination, learning and development, or workforce compliance roles Experience in logistics, warehousing, or Defence environments (preferred) Familiarity with Defence training requirements and onboarding processes (advantageous) Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Microsoft Office Suite Experience maintaining training matrices and records to audit standard Must be an Australian Citizen and eligible for (and maintain) an AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance Eligibility to make the grade To apply for this role, you must: Currently hold a Cert IV In Training & Assessment Certificate Be an Australian Citizen. Be eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Defence Security Clearance (Baseline or higher).
