With over 25 years’ experience, Mastroplas has the understanding and capability to service a range of industries, including - Mining Electronics Engineering Domestic Home wares Building Consumables About the role - The day shift operator will work with one other operator to keep the factory operating from; Monday to Thursday 07:30 AM - 16:30 PM Friday 07:30 AM - 13:30 PM In this position the operator will be control of running a manual machine for 4 hours, then run the factory floor for the remaining 4 hours. It is the duty of the operator to ensure the safe and effective operation of the machinery and follow the plan and guidance of the Factory Supervisor. No experience is needed but factory experience is a plus. Tasks will include: Operating a manually run machine for 4 Hours. Setting and changing machine criteria. Managing machine raw material consumption. Checking and monitoring the machines to ensure consistent quality output. Packing the jobs accordingly. Checking product for quality. Carrying out the tasks assigned by your supervisor. Resolving any machine alarms or issues that occur. Following strict procedures to ensure the safe and effective operation of machinery. About You Team player with strong communication and collaboration skills. Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead by example and build a cohesive team to achieve results and shared successes. Forklift license is not essential, this can be attained for the right candidate after commencing work. This is a casual position working Monday to Friday with the opportunity for a full-time role for the right candidate. A person with Injection Moulding experience will be an ideal candidate and will affect both pay rate and opportunity for a full-time position.
