About the Role: We are seeking a seasoned IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead critical projects within our client's robust technology environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation and evolution of their essential IT infrastructure, directly supporting world-class services. You will be responsible for end-to-end project management of significant infrastructure initiatives, with a strong emphasis on data centre related projects. This could include, but is not limited to: Data centre relocations and migrations Major data centre upgrades and modernizations Implementation of new data centre technologies and systems Infrastructure consolidation and optimization projects Key Responsibilities: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management. Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive environment. Manage risks, issues, and changes effectively throughout the project lifecycle. Communicate project progress, challenges, and successes to all relevant stakeholders. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Work closely with technical teams, vendors, and operational staff. Skills and Experience Required: Extensive commercial data centre experience is essential. This must include demonstrable experience in areas such as data centre migrations, upgrades, consolidations, or significant infrastructure implementations within commercial data centre settings. Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, ideally within large, complex organizations. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure domains (e.g., networking, servers, storage, virtualization, cloud technologies). Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
