Walcha Council is seeking the services of a careful and safe driver for community transport within the Walcha region. This position is Casual and will bolster the services provided by our community care team to the elderly and disadvantaged of our region. Key Responsibilities Drive Community Care Clients within the Walcha LGA Computer based data entry Other record keeping relating to the functions of the role Clean and maintain Council Community transport vehicle Handling of money Use of mobile phone to take bookings Requirements Class C Drivers License with no restrictions Working with Children Check NDIS Check Ability to enter basic records and reports in computer-based system Calm and polite nature Good time management skills Good driving record Desire to assist Walcha community Sound knowledge of Walcha locations and streets Desirable Previous community driving experience Awareness of challenges that disadvantaged and elderly face The work will be carried out largely between 9 am and 2pm, in Council's vehicle.
